learned the trade on
Daikin is one of the biggest names in air conditioning in the world, and it has a particularly strong following in Australian homes because its ducted systems are built here for the way Australian houses are put together.
Our connection runs deeper than a dealer logo. Greg Dawson did his apprenticeship as an air conditioning and refrigeration mechanic at Daikin in 1987, worked in Daikin's sales team through the early nineties, and has been specifying, installing and repairing Daikin equipment ever since. When he recommends a Daikin system for your house, it is because he knows exactly what is inside it.
TOZER is a preferred Daikin warranty agent. In practice that means Daikin trusts us to carry out warranty repairs on its equipment, so if anything ever goes wrong with a Daikin system we installed, the claim is handled by our own service department in Beresfield, not passed around a call centre. It also means we keep Daikin units in our own warehouse.

Daikin systems
we install
Daikin's range changes every year. Rather than list model numbers that will be superseded by summer, here is what we install and why, and we will recommend the current model that fits at the quote.
Wall-mounted split systems
Daikin's wall splits are known for quiet running and features like the Intelligent Eye sensor, which notices when a room is empty and eases the unit back to save power. Sizes from a nursery up to an open-plan living area.
Ducted systems
Daikin's ducted range is built in Australia and is the one we install most for whole-home jobs. Inverter outdoor units, zone control, and a controller with the zones named the way you talk about the rooms.
Multi-split systems
Two to five indoor units off one Daikin outdoor unit, mixing wall, floor-console and bulkhead heads on the same system. The townhouse and apartment answer.
Commercial systems
Ceiling cassettes, ducted and larger multi-zone systems for offices, shops, hotels and restaurants, designed by Greg or Shaun and maintained on a schedule.

Daikin's manufacturer's warranty on the equipment, five years parts and labour on the residential ranges we install, and TOZER's own 5-year workmanship warranty on the installation. Both handled by the same office in Beresfield.

Being an agent means our technicians work to Daikin's installation and commissioning requirements, which is what keeps the manufacturer's warranty valid in the first place. Lines vacuumed properly, charge checked, pressures recorded.

Booked, stocked, ready
Units and ducting come from our own Beresfield warehouse, so the install date we give you is the date we turn up, not the date the supplier delivers.
Installed by our own crews
Trained in-house, in TOZER uniform, floor mats down and taped. Neat penetrations, sealed and capped, and the site swept before the van leaves.
Commissioned and checked
Every system is run on heating and cooling, pressures and temperatures checked, and signed off against our completion checklist before we hand over the controller.
Backed for five years
A 5-year workmanship warranty on top of the manufacturer's warranty, honoured by our own service department. Call the same office that installed it.

What is the Intelligent Eye?
An infrared sensor on Daikin wall-mounted splits that detects whether anyone is in the room. If the room is empty for a while, the unit eases back into an energy-saving mode, then returns to the set temperature when someone comes back. It is a small feature that adds up over a summer.
Can I control a Daikin system from my phone?
Most current Daikin splits and ducted systems can be fitted with Wi-Fi control, so you can switch the house on from the car or check it from work. Tell us at the quote if you want it and we will include the right controller.
What warranty comes with a Daikin system?
Daikin's residential ranges come with a five-year parts and labour manufacturer's warranty, and every TOZER installation carries our own 5-year workmanship warranty on top. As a Daikin warranty agent, we handle any claim from our own service desk.
Do you service and repair older Daikin systems?
Yes, all of them, whoever installed them. Our technicians have worked on every generation of Daikin equipment. If a unit is genuinely past saving, we will tell you before you spend on a repair.
Are there Daikin promotions on at the moment?
