Who we are
Family-run,
still hands-on
TOZER is a family-run Newcastle business, owned and run by Greg Dawson and Drew Stephens. Both are tradesmen who have spent their careers installing and servicing air conditioning, and they run the company on a simple idea.
Do the measure yourself. Quote it properly in writing. Install it with your own people, from your own stock, and stand behind it for years. Answer the phone. More than 10,000 installs on, that is still how it works, and Greg and Drew are still on the tools, with Greg or Shaun at every measure.
The business runs from a warehouse and showroom at Beresfield, in the middle of the six regions we cover, with a second showroom in Morisset for the southern end of Lake Macquarie. We are warranty agents for Daikin, Fujitsu and Panasonic, and we install Mitsubishi Electric as well, so the advice on which brand suits your home is based on what we service every week, not on what is on special.

Who you’ll deal with
The team
behind TOZER
Greg and Drew came up through the trade and have run installs and service in Newcastle for decades. Greg or Shaun measure the jobs in person, and Lee, Sheree and Sharon are the ones you’ll speak to when you call.
Greg Dawson
Co-owner
Started as a Daikin apprentice in 1987 and qualified in 1990, then worked in Daikin and Carrier sales before coming to Newcastle in 1997. Nearly forty years in air conditioning, and he still does the measures.
Drew Stephens
Co-owner
Newcastle born, apprenticed in 1990 and qualified in 1994. Worked in the UK and Europe, then came home and ran his own install business. Today he runs the install side, so every crew is trained his way.
Shaun Lowrey
Measures and quotes
Shaun measures up homes and writes the quotes alongside Greg. Book a free measure and it may be Shaun who comes out, looks at the rooms, the roof space and where the outdoor unit can go, then leaves you a fixed written quote.
Lee Lowrey
Service coordinator
Lee answers the phone, books the measures and services, and knows which crew is where on any given day. When you call TOZER, you get Lee.
Sheree Griffin
Office and enquiries
Sheree works alongside Lee in the Beresfield office, looking after the phones and the online enquiries. Call, email or fill in a form, and it is often Sheree who gets back to you to sort out the next step.
Sharon Bucklee
Warehouse and sales
Sharon keeps the Beresfield warehouse stocked with new units and the crews loaded for the day, working alongside the installers and estimators every morning.

One split system or a whole-home ducted install, the job runs the same way. That is what makes a five-year workmanship warranty easy to put in writing.
Measured in person
Greg or Shaun visits your home or site, checks the rooms, roof space, power and where the outdoor unit can live. No sizing off a floor plan alone.
A fixed written quote
You get the system, the brand, the price and what is included, in writing. If something is not in the quote, you will not be charged for it later.
Booked, stocked, ready
Units and ducting come from our own Beresfield warehouse, so the install date we give you is the date we turn up, not the date the supplier delivers.
Installed by our own crews
Trained in-house, in TOZER uniform, floor mats down and taped. Neat penetrations, sealed and capped, and the site swept before the van leaves.
Commissioned and checked
Every system is run on heating and cooling, pressures and temperatures checked, and signed off against our completion checklist before we hand over the controller.
Backed for five years
A 5-year workmanship warranty on top of the manufacturer's warranty, honoured by our own service department. Call the same office that installed it.
