Why work at TOZER
A trade job
done the right way
Permanent work with an established, family-run Newcastle business, set up so your day is spent on the tools, not chasing gear or answering the phone.
The work is varied: installs, servicing and repairs on split, ducted, multi-split and commercial systems, in homes and businesses from Newcastle and the Hunter to Port Stephens and the Central Coast. We are warranty agents for Daikin, Fujitsu and Panasonic and install Mitsubishi Electric too, so you get to know every major brand properly, not just one.
- Permanent, long-term roles
- Four or five day week, 40 hours
- Highly competitive wages
- Employed and trained by TOZER
Six reasons
What you get
at TOZER
Load up and go
The Beresfield warehouse holds the units and ducting, so the gear for the job is ready when you load the van in the morning. No half a day lost to a supplier run.
Jobs planned before you arrive
Greg or Shaun measure every install in person, and the customer has a fixed written quote before you get there. What is on the job sheet is what the job needs.
A crew, not a contractor
You are part of the TOZER team, working alongside the same people every week, in TOZER uniforms and TOZER vans.
Trained on the job
Drew runs the install side and every crew is trained his way, on real jobs, next to people who have been doing this for years.
A week you can plan
Four or five days, 40 hours, permanent. Family-run means the people setting the roster have families too.
An office that backs you
Lee and the Beresfield office take the calls, book the jobs and keep the customer in the loop, so you are not running the schedule from the van.
Who you’d work with
Owners who have
done the job
TOZER is family-run and owner-operated. Greg and Drew came up through the trade themselves, and they still run the business day to day.
Greg started as a Daikin apprentice in 1987 and still does the measures. Drew was apprenticed in 1990, worked in the UK and Europe, then ran his own install business before running the install side here. When something needs sorting, you talk to them directly, not a recruiter or a manager three levels up.
Around them is a crew of installers and service technicians, Shaun on measures and quotes, and Lee, Sheree and Sharon in the Beresfield office.
